Minute 319 Photo Gallery

Photos of the Colorado River delta area before and after the November, 2014, Colorado River pulse that came as a result of the Minute 319 agreement.  First, a photo of the area between Yuma and the Colorado River delta before the Minute 319 pulse flow showing the dry Colorad River bed, photos before and after the pulse of the same area, a photo in the delta after the pulse, and two scentists walking in the dry river delta in 2019.  The Salton Sea, in the middle of the Salton Sink, was created by an accident in 1905 while building a canal to the dry Alamo River bed.  The Salton Sea is 236 ft (71.9 m) below sea level.
